Hayley & Jeff

Hayley and Jeff’s intimate wedding took place at Glenrock Farm, a lovely country-style venue in Carrara featuring banana trees, native gums, and some friendly cows. This unassuming venue boasts the tranquility and peacefulness of an isolated property despite being just minutes from the bustling streets and highways of the Gold Coast. It’s the perfect all-in-one spot, with plenty of open space among the tall gums for a ceremony and a rustic barn for hosting a small reception.

Hayley and Jeff decided to shoot some first-look photos and portraits prior to the ceremony to give themselves more time with the guests later - an idea that I loved. Of course, I had to take them aside quickly around golden hour to shoot a champagne spray, but that only took a few moments.

Officiating their ceremony was the incredibly talented Lauren Bridge, who has a unique knack for creating beautiful and personal ceremonies for her couples. She had everyone laughing and crying with hand-picked anecdotes, woven together to tell Hayley and Jeff’s love story perfectly.

The atmosphere for the reception was beautifully nostalgic, with Claudia Lamb performing beautiful acoustic music and the kids excitedly playing on the lawn and feeding the cows. It was a perfect afternoon with Hayley and Jeff’s nearest and dearest at a truly stunning and serene venue.
